I recently saw an article in my local paper (Columbia, TN). This local 2016 Kicker was All-State in Tennessee his junior year. What makes him interesting in my opinion is that his team has nicknamed him "Mr. Everything", because in addition to his kicking, he plays offense and defense. He has a 4.56 40-time, so while I wouldn't describe him as a burner, he is certainly faster than what you would expect from a kicker. He actually likes hitting people, which is also unusual for a kicker.

He has a serious leg, and is actually the leading scorer on his HS soccer team as well.

I am far from an expert on scouting players, but I would think that his willingness to hit could help on kickoff coverage, or even make fake kicks interesting with his experience with the ball in his hands. I have read before that Kickers are not worth the scholarship, but would a guy like this warrant additional consideration? He is not fast enough to be a RB in college, or tall enough to be a WR... he is too small to play on defense... but he might be a kicker with some x-factor. Is he interesting enough, or is he just a novelty?

The first clip here has him dragging a defender 20 yards as a RB (I have never seen a kicker do that):

Here is his hudl profile:

Here is the article I read that got my attention:

I contacted the reporter who wrote the article. He is expecting to get several offers as a Kicker when he goes to the Clemson Camp on June 6th. He is expecting offers from Western Kentucky, Purdue, and Clemson.
