I have cheered for Montell to have success ... just like we all have. But I also have watched the film. It don't lie. I also attended the spring game this year and witnessed the ridiculous number of throws to the wrong color of jersey. Interceptions over and over and over and over again (four if I remember right). I had seen that same movie before and before that. Some things do NOT change. MC is a good kid and a good athlete. But he is not a D1 quarterback. I truly wish he had elected to change positions. Continuously hearing that Montell is at the top of our QB depth chart or almost at the top may be a reflection on his 'sticktuitiveness' but it is also a bright reflection on the skill sets of those who are not at the top and perhaps too, on those who make the decisions as to who should be at the top.
