Frank Mason speaks for himself. He's a stereotypical Bill Self guard and he has been consistent all season.

Since he's come back, Devonte' Graham has 28 assists to 3 turnovers in 8 games.
He doesn't shoot a lot, because that's not what his role is, but he's still hitting 42.9% FG and 41.2% 3FG.

I just can't get over how great it is to have complete confidence in two ball handlers on our team. Especially when you know we're going to have them together for another 2 years of it after this. I remember when we first got Self, and then the first few years while he was here, he was always known for having great guards. Then we had the "Danny" era and people only talked about our bigs and I think people/recruits perception of our guard-play went away a little bit. Feels good to have a nice mix again.

This year has been great. It almost has kind of a 2012 feel to it from an attitude perspective. Completely different team, but the confidence and the will to win is there. March will be tough because unlike most years, there are probably 10 really good teams that have a legit chance at making a run to the title. That could work in our favor though because our struggles has usually been with lesser known teams. We usually fair well on the bigger stage (against everyone but UK).
