I hadn't seen any posts about this so if it's already been discussed, I apologize. A couple of days ago, I saw an article from 247 Sports saying that the call in which the OU offensive player(maybe TaShawn Thomas??) was called for an offensive foul was the biggest flop in college history. Did anybody else see it?
On the play, the OU offensive player clearly stuck his arm out and shoved off, but the writer says that Cliff Alexander flopped.
The craziest part is reading the replies after the article. It's amazing how much hatred there is out there for KU. I know that winning causes this, but it's ridiculous seeing people say that KU gets Allen Fieldhouse home cooking in every game.
When you recruit good to great athletes every year, it stands to reason that average to below average guys are going to foul them a lot more because they just aren't as good. Why are some people too stupid to realize this?
What are your thoughts about that play in particular?
