Does anyone else think that the complaining by Houstonians has been minimal or nonexistent compared to Katrina victims? If so, what is the reason why? Did FEMA and the gov't react quicker now than with Katrina? I'd like to think we learned a lesson from Katrina. It can't be because of the population demographics can it (ie, black vs white population). The population of Houston alone is higher than the whole number of Katrina victims combined and translates into Houston having almost double the black/African-American population than New Orleans and the areas hurt by their hurricane. Thoughts?
