Was reading a pretty interesting article about Joe Deforest playing during the 1987 strike year in the NFL, of which during that time he worked at NASA before being called up as a replacement player and went back to NASA after the strike ended. Like Hull, he decided to give up the NASA life to get into football coaching. Moral victory of the day, but between two former NASA employees and another guy that helped grow a startup into a mulit-million dollar business, we might have the smartest staff in the league!
