This does not apply to the wealthy because I am assuming their aren't many on this board. From 2010-2016 the income of the upper middle glass went up 9% to 187k/yr and the middle class went up to 6% to 78k/yr. These are the median numbers.Of course we all know the these amounts as medians don't reflect the value of a dollar by locations. The real issue is poor is poor all over.
