Recruiting isn't changing and I will be shocked if we don't start taking huge hits on the recruiting trail. I am certainly getting tired of hearing "look at their film". These diamonds in the rough aren't even close to living up to the reputation that is sold to us on here with each new 2 star commitment.
We don't seem to have a staff that is capable of making up for a lack of talent with superior coaching.
Where the hell do we go from here? From where I am sitting right now, I don't see a damn thing changing next year or the year after that. Please tell me how we get better.
The only thing I can think of is to find a couple star coordinators who are having success at the lower levels and would take any P5 job that opened up. However, the window of opportunity may be closing on that.
