With the overall view that we lay some big turds this year I would like to ask what we need to surprise to the upside.
1) QB has to be much much more productive than we have seen in the recent Armageddon cycle.
2) OL could surprise and I think will surprise with the air raid style offense. Less pressure on them to hold out the D for 3+ seconds. More fluidity possible so perfection less necessary. I think we could surprise.
3) DBs must perform. For that to happen we must get some kind of pressure on the opposition QB. I think our DBs will be better than we fear and our pass rush will be damn good.
4) Coaching needs to be inspiring and in constant pursuit of improvement. Something tells me that our ship finally came in with Beatty and staff.
5) Fans need to show support. Get to the stadium. Stay at the stadium. Etc. Etc. Etc.
