Don't recall how that happened, Beaty picked or team voted. Either way, I have felt we've had a huge issue with the wrong guy or guys being captains. You flat out can't have a QB be a captain unless he's the guy. I have said this for multiple years after the qb shitshow we've seen. A guy is a captain and starter initially and then the captain is benched...not a good situation when you have an offense trying to establish itself and needing a leader.
