Has anybody been following this issue? It's a 3 part series in the KC Star. Doctors are selling their practices to hospitals and then many of them are becoming employees. However the big cost is that you visit your doctor for your usual fee and then there will be an added fee for the hospital. The fed govt is looking closely at this to see how much they will allow and pay. Some doctors, like the one I use, will keep their storefront locations while others are relocating into the hospitals. Until the dust clears on this, which should take some time, you better ask questions and pay attention to your bills.
