I saw where the Kelsey Smith bill temporarily failed in the House. While I certainly understand her parents anguish, I am not comfortable with giving law enforcement unfettered warrantless access to cell phone locations on a vague pretext of endangerment. IMO, this is another example of giving away liberty for security. It is ripe for abuse. This brings out the libertarian in me. I think the writers of our Constitution would agree me. Your thoughts?
