So I went to graduation as my daughter was graduating and I saw the football crew going down the Hill - Heeney, Jacorey, Keon (good job Carolina!), and several others. Proud of those guys, it's hard work to play a major sport and graduate. I was also very impressed while watching my daughter's Distinction ceremony to see Michael Reynolds receive his Distinction award. I don't remember hearing that he was doing that well.
I was also disappointed to hear the keynote take a shot at KU football. She gave a very good talk all in all but that was uncalled for, especially with several Jayhawks among the graduates that had given their all. I guess it wasn't too bad - said she was a Jayhawk fanatic that was crazy during March but depressed during football season. It didn't go over well with the crowd and my daughter said same with the graduates.
