No question the new Big 12 Conference is a Power 5 conference. Last AP poll:

My guess is the new Big 12 conference will quickly establish itself as the 3rd best football conference in the nation. I think the money might be better than most expect as well. How ironic that Cinci will make the playoff, and OSU has a chance, and OU and UT are no where to be found.
On the negative side, ESPN talking heads saying that OU/UT may stay in the Big 12 longer than anticipated so they can get their houses in order before they move to the SEC. We need to get rid of those bastards or maybe just beat them into the ground the next four years.
