At Big 12 Media Day earlier in the week, Ochai Agbaji and David McCormack touched on a number of topics. Early on, a few of us (media types) got to see a different side of the duo and it was a pretty cool exchange between Agbaji, McCormack, and a few reporters.
Question: Who's the best dunker on the team?
Answer (by Ochai Agbaji): I am
David McCormack: I'll give him that one

Q: Who's the best defender on the team?
Answered by David McCormack: My answer is Dajuan Harris

Q: Who's the best shooter again?
A: Ochai Agbaji: Me.
Q: And the best dunker?
A: Ochai Agbaji: Yeah.
A: David McCormack: I'm just saying just check the percentages from last year. I didn't miss.
Q: And obviously, take one game at a time, but you guys play a loaded schedule. I mean, Michigan State, Kentucky, at Colorado, plus the Big 12 schedule you guys have. Is there a game that you circle?
Ochai Agbaji: We got a bunch. We got a bunch.
David McCormack: For me, just because I've always heard about the rivalry and the border and it's like I finally get to experience this and it's in the field house and we get to pack that again. My family like, "Oh, what game do you want us to come out to?" I was like, "You got to come to the Mizzou game." Having him and CB and Martin, everybody was kind of hyping it up. I'm just ready for the hype. I'm ready to play. I'm amped up about it already.
Q: It sounds like it's something that CB takes quite seriously.
A: David McCormack: Oh, very.
A: Ochai Agbaji: He does.
A: David McCormack: It's near and dear to him.
A: Ochai Agbaji: Yeah. Yeah, if we had the game last year when his brother was actually playing for the team, it would've been maybe a little bit more serious, but his mom played there, and obviously, his brother played there, so there is that there.
Q: Have you seen highlights of the last game in 2012?
A: David McCormack: Was that the T-Rob block?
Interviewer: Yes.
A: David McCormack: Yep.
A: Ochai Agbaji: Oh, yes, obviously I've seen that.
A: David McCormack: Hot, crazy game.
Q: So Missouri's one circled.
A: Ochai Agbaji: I would say, yeah, that's circled. Mizzou's circled.
A: David McCormack: Kentucky's definitely circled.
A: Ochai Agbaji: Kentucky's circled.
A: Ochai Agbaji: At Texas and Texas at home is circled.
David McCormack: Texas at home is senior night.

A: David McCormack: Yes.

David McCormack: Has one just because of previous players. ISU's also got a nice little star to it just because of Tristan. There's going to be just some friendly banter, trash-talking. I think honestly every game is going to have some impact, but I think those first few are going to be the big ones.
