Just like every other time the NE Kansas Jayhawk Club has had their annual golf event there will be nobody from the current/recent football team involved. They said they would for sure going to send somebody up this year to attend and guess what they have had something "come up". This isn't a big deal, but it is little things like these that need to be changed. I was really hoping Coach Beaty would get items like this addressed and still hoping that he will. I know he has bigger fish to fry, but for the department to say they will make sure someone comes up and then when it gets to the week of the event they back out. Just a frustrated fan wishing our football team would try to build up their relationship with the local fans.
