Assuming everything being reported comes to pass, the GOP is bringing in an outside female prosecutor to question Ford. What are people's thoughts about the move? It's clear they are doing it because as an all-male committee, they are afraid of the optics.
Personally, I think it's poor form. Is she going to similarly grill Kavanaugh, or are the questions going to fall back to the Senators? If the problem is you have no females on the committee, shouldn't the solution be to get females on the committee? Doesn't it somewhat cook the books if you have a trained prosecutor question one person, but you go back to untrained Senators questioning the other?
