Getting a jump on this for you @Oread. Was able to attend my only game of the year and have some thoughts to jot down before they’re gone.
Good:
-didn’t see any of the trash mentioned last week
-walked right up and bought beer and CFA at various times
-one last piss trough visit
-scan out process at halftime was clear and easy
Bad:
-intro video is probably good on a computer but speakers couldn’t handle it. Couldn’t hear a thing but a jumbled mess. And I LOVE intro videos.
-I don’t know if they’ve updated the playlist since 2015. My god half the music was from when I was in college. No wonder the students left, they expected them to be entertained/fired up by LMFAO. Seems like a small thing but if you want them to stick around you need to mix in plenty of current stuff. (Anecdote: I remember when “Some Nights” was the hot song in 2012, they played it during a long tv timeout. Not a typical stadium song but it was relevant so the student section sang along and had fun)
