I'm watching Hart (CA) right now on Fox Sports Prime Ticket and their QB Nick Moore sure seems to have the it factor that you look for.
He hurt his knee last year and missed a lot of the season, but he's back for his senior year. As I type this, he's 16-20 for over 200 yards in the first half with also nearly 50 yards rushing. He's 6-1 and probably about 180 or so, but he sure seems to have the intangibles you want in a QB. He keeps a lot of plays alive with his feet, scrambling in the pocket, etc. Earlier in this game, he had about a 40 yard TD run where he changed speeds, relaxed the defense, and then cut back up the field to go the distance.
Right now, he has no D-1 offers, but Hart runs a very good spread offense. His arm isn't a cannon, but he's accurate and efficient.
He sure seems like maybe he would be a guy like a Carter Stanley that you would take a chance on.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts. California is loaded with prospects and I wish our staff would at least look at a few guys out there. Here are highlights of his first four games this year.
