ESPN Analyst and others were discussing this...thoughts?
"They were discussing Sabin's program success in putting players in the NFL. However, most of the players are considered journey men rather than elite. The conversation then switched to a theory why Brown with Texas began to see a lack of success like they use to have. The analyst also thought this might be a factor with Sabin's program and the NFL.
His statement was that the Texas recruits - from Texas - had been coached up so much during HS that most of them had reached their maximums and they just did not develop any further in college. It makes sense to a certain degree when we see top notch players develop at smaller schools. It is fascinating to think about.
It also is a reason we might want to think about all of the Texas recruits. Many have said we have not seen any real gems so far from that group. Perhaps the reason why is that most have already topped out."
