Over the first 3 days, Democrats had way more viewers than the Republican Convention. Day 4 numbers haven't come in, and these numbers don't count streaming which would further the gap.

Kamala Harris spoke last night and she committed to a bill that will combat price gouging, a tax cut for working people, passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and passage of the dead for now border bill that was negotiated by Sens Murphy, Lankford and Sinema.

You know, the bill that Republicans torpedoed because they don't give a shit about the border and illegals as much as they do about denying the opposition a 'win'. Anyone remember Trumps first two years in office? He didn't touch immigration and the border at all. He was too busy trying to repeal the ACA (almost did but McCain saved it) and passed the tax scam that hurt the middle class and enriched the top 1%.

You typically get a polling bump (that usually resides somewhat) after your convention. This likely explains why Brain Worm waited for today to drop out and endorse Trump (while remaining on the ballots in the non-swing states) in hopes of neutralizing that bump to punish Democrats for not promising him any specific offices or cabinet posts.

Trump spoke for 90 minutes+ at his convention and some people fell asleep. Kamala spoke for about 40. The rule in politics is you leave them wanting more, not less. I remember Bill Clinton got booed off the stage in the '88 convention for speaking too long and it nearly killed his career.

In the end, nothing new in this convention and I doubt any of independents will remember much of either come November.
