Apathy hit today after the the fumble fest by Willis and Cozart. Shut the game off and left to do something else. I saw a clueless team last week and it was the same team this week playing like it doesn't even have a coaching staff.
This staff has talked about building a culture. Well it's horrifically apparent that it's a culture that lacks both discipline and fundamentals of even the most basic aspects of the game.
Head coach growing pains are not quite handling a two minute drill correctly or maybe making the wrong gamble on a 4th down. Mangino had these growing pains. I'm not seeing growing pains with this staff. I'm seeing an inept staff that is in far over their heads.
So to the point of the subject of die hard status being tested. I have a quickly shrinking interest in watching this team perform because I see little hope of improvement.
