Has been going on for quite awhile. I know it is ongoing in the Great Plains. All up and down the ballot. The number of Democrats in our legislature could meet in a coffee shop and not take up all the space. Outside of Sioux Falls, there are just almost no Democrats. This from a state that at one time elected George McGovern as well as Democrat governors. Same in surrounding states up here. Take your pick as a source.
