Our defense is on the right track and is actually plain Jane middle of the pack and serviceable. Not great but as good as most. Need to sure up some things of course. But they are good enough that we could compete if they played a normal amount of snaps like the other Air Raid teams that can move the ball. So as much as people like to bag on Bowen he is doing twice the job that Beaty is doing right now.
If we had some offense we could compete in a bunch of games this year. For example, TTechs D sucks again. That is why the shit show on offense makes me PUKE! We could be moving forward as a team right now. The soft throws off the back of the foot, the complete pee down the leg on that phantom pitch where our QB did a toss pitch to no one but the ground.
We need a leader at QB damn it. And if the team won't follow Willis then turn the keys over to Stanley. Cozart is soft on game day, and clearly lacks leadership skills. I have never seen him get aggressive an try to rally the team. Why, because he is too concerned about screwing up and too concerned about getting hit.
We had better damn well see some improvement on offense from here on out. It absolutely can't get any worse.
