Last year's numbers on defense.
Home 22.7 ppg
Away 43.8 ppg
Overall 33.3 ppg.
New defense but some of the higher scoring teams at home.
Numbers might even out more, even if we give up more points overall, which I would expect to happen.
One man's guess at some numbers for this year's defense:

Home - 38 ppg
Away - 37 ppg
Overall 37.6 ppg

With numbers like these we give up about 56 points more on the year, but will still be competitive in more games and probably win another one somewhere with the new offense.

With these defensive numbers compared to the expectation of scoring 31.4 ppg ourselves we will give up 74 more points than we score in '15. If we can put up these numbers games like Memphis, WVU and TTU all come into play along with ISU and Rutgers on the road and SDSU at home. That provides 6 games that should be much better to watch than 6 games we could pick out from last year.

Only games I remember from last year that were worthy were the 3 wins plus Okie St. and TCU. If you figure going in you will be in 6 games, surely there will be at least one more surprise for a team that plays with enthusiasm.
