I know a lot of you want to see us get a tall wing, and I'm on board with that as well. Shay has indicated that's where we are focusing right now and we all know how well a hybrid 4 man can work in our offense if he's the right fit.

Shillings is a guy that really intrigues me. He's not someone who necessarily has to have the ball in his hands to make plays and contribute to winning. He's listed at 6'6" and 215 pounds which doesn't seem that big at first but when you see that he's got a 7'2 wingspan that he knows how to use then he becomes someone with enough size to play alongside Flory and give us enough length to compete in the Big12.

He's not a great 3 pt shooter but he's career 30% from behind the arc which is enough to not want to leave him wide open as a 4 man. If he can get that up to 33-34% like Jwill did in his final year after being a sub-30% guy then he really becomes interesting because of his size, athletic ability, versatility and what he can do on the defensive end.

He seems like a guy who might fit but I might be wrong because I only watched Cincinnati a couple times. If we did get him then having 2 average wing shooters in the 30-33% range would almost certainly necessitate the last guard spot going to a guy like Pack who can really be another knock down shooter for us..
