I have read a lot of critique on Cozart. He steps away from contact, he has happy feet when the pocket collapses, and he is not accurate. I can't argue with any of these points, but I would state some obvious facts. No QB likes contact, all QB's will eventually get happy feet at some point in the pocket collapse, and at some point all QB's weren't accurate with their passes. The key is can a QB get more comfortable with contact, can the slow down the happy feet, and can they get more accurate? With Cozart he can definitely get better with contact, I think this offense will prevent some of the happy feet issues, because he will release quicker, the million dollar one is accuracy. I haven't seen him in action to know if he is better at accuracy. Our win total this year is all about having a QB that can be accurate.
