IMO there are 3 solid contracts our government has with us. Social Security, Medicare, and a viable VA. These are agreements that people pay for and are to be honored and handled appropriately. We also pay a lot of taxes to be protected from foreign enemies. The life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness does not include an opresive tax system, federal control of education, a bloated welfare system. i attended a seminar this past week and a figure given was that federal fraud annually is just a hair under 1 trillion dollars. Blame whomever you want, but that is an example of how out of control our federal government really is.
