What's more responsible for internet speed....the modem or router? Both components I've got are aging and I feel like my internet connection isn't as good as it could be. The router is newer than the modem but the modem is at least four years old or more. We don't utilize a desktop anymore. We use a Macbook Pro for our primary computer needs and we have a iPad2 as well. TIA
