HCLL will win games simply on organization and discipline.

I watched MU turn a 56 yard field goal attempt into a 61 yard field goal attempt on a Beaty like delay of game. They got lucky and hit the FG anyway.

I watched CU take the ball first in overtime, they got lucky and won anyway. CSU player with two personal fouls in first overtime bailed them out.

We punted away on fourth and short late in the game because HCLL was comfortable he could manage the situation. We have had other games where it felt like we were too conservative late, but HCLL tends to come away with the W in those situations. It appears he knows what he is doing.

After more than a decade of watching poor coaching cost of games, it can be hard to be confident in the decisions made, but HCLL is the real deal.

I am still a bit concerned with what we see from Borland's defense from a scheme and strategy standpoint at times, but I trust HCLL, if that is his choice so be it.
