Tackling...we have no clue on breaking down and wrapping up...AGAIN! Smithson whiffed on several tackles. On the 93 yard run, for TD, he had the RB corner with the sideline and he wanted no part of tackling him....several times he took himself out of the play by searching for a blocker to get block.
This is not because we are GREEN in the coaching ranks...isn't Bowen like 40 with years of experience. Tackling is WANT TOO! I am not sure if we have the physicality to do that part. Is that because of our S&C program. We look like sticks compared to Texas...maybe we are too young (another excuse).
Ball skills, it seems our DBs have no balls skills..why is that? We have no idea where the ball is most of the time. Coaching? Lacking of skill?
