Listening to College Sports Nation on Sirius XM radio during the 6:00 hour on Sunday. The hosts, Andy Staples and Rachel Barbo, are talking about the upcoming SEC Media Days and discussing how some coaches, Nick Saban, because of all of their success, really don't have to say anything during these obligatory sessions. They begin talking about interesting coaches who are not at national powers and specifically mention PJ (or is it BJ) Fleck at Western Michigan. They had him on last week and he apparently was a great interview. They said that if a kid heard him talk they would really want to play for him (Rachel Barbo even said she would run through a wall for him). They then said that if a coach of a program was going to win between six and eight games every year, with a really good season being nine wins, they needed to be interesting and someone who could relate to kids and get kids to want to come play for them. Andy Staples then mentions Coach David Beaty; Rachel Barbo screams and says she loves him. They then begin to talk about the hoverboard SnapChat thing and they both thought it was great and how kids could, and would, relate to it. While the entire thing only last 45-60 seconds, being a KU fan, and listening to a national sports program, it was great to hear something positive about KU football.

Now, if we can only get to 6-8 wins in a season!
