I just got done reading a refreshing ESPN article. While the nation knows Myles Garrett for what he does on the field for Texas A&M, most commonly compared to Jadeveon Clowney, he is a different cat.
  • He does no social media,
  • He prefers to write poetry and read, especially about dinosaurs, over going to the movies
  • He prefers old school music to rap for pregame music. Names listed in the article were Marvin Gaye, Anita Baker, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Teddy Pendergrass, and The Gap Band.
But it isn't just old school R&B. Here's two songs that he likes. The first one was the first song on his personal playlist, according to the article. The second, he convinced Sumlin to play during a recent practice. I have a newfound level of respect and anticipation to watch him this season.

As for Watson, he is the face of Clemson football. A potential #1 overall pick in next year's NFL Draft.

But according to this CBSSports article, he is also the face of Habitat for Humanity. And is working on creating scholarships, related to Habitat for Humanity.

Yes, there are other players who are doing similar things as these two guys, but these are high level well known players on high level Power of 5 schools. I want to hear more stories like these, no matter what level of CFB, compared to all of the things that happened at Missouri last year, the recruiting violations at Mississippi, and other ridiculous stories.

I felt the need to showcase these stories. I hope to see some like these soon under Beaty's tenure.
