is ridiculous. Riley Cooper just caught a ball took two complete steps and then was tackled. As he hit the ground, the ball flew out of his hands because of the contact. I'm sure it's going to be ruled no catch because of their horrendous rule that they have.
How is this any different than a running back taking two steps after taking the handoff, being tackled, and then losing the ball after hitting the ground? That is ruled no fumble because the ground can't cause a fumble.
It's time for the NFL to change this stupid rule.
