So it appears that Beatty is delivering on his promise as a recruiter. Is he going to be able to deliver on gameday as an off coach? We will probably never be so talented we can just roll the ball out there and get 6 wins. Does Beatty as an Xs and Os guy give us an advantage? Just average? Worse than that? What do you guys think? I was encouraged by some of what I saw last year, but think our talent/scholarship situation was so terrible its hard to know. Add in a young qb and a deficient OL and most gameplans are going to fall apart. Im kind of leaning towards, hes average for b12. Im no coach tho, just a fan of 30 yrs watching football. Im lumping his whole off staff in with him, btw, as he is responsible for the end product. Curious what others think.
