Pod system actually helps scheduling. This scenario which has a 100% chance of happening and helps KU in the long run.
The NCAA goes bye bye and another governing body takes over at a fraction of a cost. You now have the college basketball tourney which the schools pocket way more money. I personally think this helps attendance for 98.3% of the schools.
