This isn't the first nor the last seasons end were the rumors of Calipari to the NBA have surfaced. Watching PTI they're discussing Calipari in the potential move to the NBA. Calipari has come out and said he desperately wants to get back to the NBA.
What do folks think will happen if Kentucky goes 40 an 0 and wins the national title? At that point Calipari will have reached the pinnacle of college basketball. What more could he accomplish?
He would have an undefeated season, a national championship, and probably send half of his roster to the NBA. After awhile one would think the challenge won't be with the college game but elsewhere. At the end of the season he could have mastered everything everyone would dream of being able to do as a coach at the collegiate level.
Lastly, the rules with the one and done will be changing soon and with it, Calipari's biggest advantage. So what does everyone think is this the offseason Calipari makes the jump to the back to the NBA? The cap ceiling will be raised soon in the NBA. With so many former players in the league, he could attract a lot of talent to his NBA squad.
