As we travelled back to JoCo from Hutchinson this weekend to visit family and my older kids, we took in the KU vs. KSU game on TV.
With a split household, we had 3 KU grads, 2 KSU ( they both started at KU) and 2 sisters at Benedictine, we had about 30 cheering on the game. There was screaming, almost fights, etc. Plus my 87 year old aunt who lives in Missouri is a KU fan.
On the way home my wife turned to me an said, when the boys get old enough, lets make sure we take them to the football games in the fall and as many bbball games as well. I dont want their minds to get soiled and there is no other choice but KU.
She is usually calm and collected, but she was fired up.
