Why not make Bowen our STs coach? That way he does not have to concentrate on the position as a coach and can really team up with a good GA to build our STs into something great. And give him time to coach the DEF. I expect STs are won and lost in practice and in play design/fromations, attention to detail,etc. Not on game day! If young balls can take 6 - 175 lb slow white buy from Miege (Lil' Weber) and make him into a captain, why can't we! STs is about want too!

Let's focus on guys who want to be here. Bring back Vestal at Safeties coach. It think he is coaching in Texas, and that can't hurt. I think we will be needing a new LB coach next year as I expect he will be elsewhere. Get a RB coach who wants to live and breathe KU.
We are well into Beaty's most important recruiting class now...2017! We can't keep taking a pocket knife to fight ISIS (the JV)! We need consistency everywhere and the coach staff is 1A!
