Politico reported he's shot his campaign announcement video, it's also being reported he'll make his announcement at a college in Brooklyn.

Word has it he announces Saturday. The most popular member of Congress is going to announce and the Dems in collusion with MSM are going to sandbag him at every turn but he owns the 18-29 demographic and this time they aren't going to sit at home.

This is gonna be a wild ride.

Bernie would not have gotten my vote in 2016, but it was amazing to watch the obvious Clinton machine screw job take the nomination away from him. I really wish he would have fought that a lot more then instead of basically being the good soldier and falling on his sword. No one is pre-ordained like Hillary thought she was and deserved to be. I don't have any doubt Bernie would have defeated Trump in 2016.

He and 19 others. Unlike him, there are actually some pretty decent Dems looking at running. None that I would vote for but some that are not too far left of center.

In under 4 hours he broke the donation total than what Kamala The Cop Harris did in her first day of announcing. And California and rest of the west coast was just waking up.

He raised $6MM in 24 hours. Oh my. In 2016 he won NH and he raised $5MM and I'm pretty sure that wasn't in one day.

Bernie at least never lied repeatedly about a non existent Native American heritage. Thanks to the Cherokee Nation for exposing this fraud.

Just read that it's up to $7.2 million and about 20% of the original donors subscribed, meaning they agreed to periodic draws (e.g., Netflix). With little to no effort, Sanders just locked up $10 million + in a few days. It took Trump two years to raise $60 million for his 2020 campaign. I'm sure you remember that he filed as a candidate for 2020 on Inauguration Day. (As an aside, wonder how much of Trump's money has been spent on personal BS and legal fees?)

Judging by his past actions, a fair bit. A lot is also likely spent in Trump related properties so he or family get the benefit. He's a scam artist.

I haven't read enough about him. It's a little early. I really start closer to primaries In 2016 I really favored the Ohio governor. I also thought there were a couple more good candidates, but Trump steamrolled over all of them. The Dems ran a flawed candidate. When I look at the national election I fall with 10 points to the left to 10 points on the right. I could support the right Dem for president, just not the likes of Bernie. He openly espouses socialism, yet without having a job has amassed multi-millions. IMO he is the perfect example of a plutocrat. his wife just got away with something very suspicious.

My ideal candidate would one to say "The right crucified Obama and the left did the same to Trump so now we are even. Let's now reach across the aisle and do what is right for the country". Now that is idealistic and I doubt there is a candidate that can do that. We are now too divided.

You really need to stop watching Fox News. They are lying to you and then you repeat their lies. You should be better than that.

I have no idea why you’d allege that Bernie has never had a job. He’s been a representative/senator for decades now, and was a mayor before that. That means he’s earned a six-figure salary for decades. He’s also sold some books. He has an estimated net worth of $2 million. That seems incredibly reasonable, if not a bit low, given his career.

You seem to be repeating the fallacious Fox News propaganda BS about how a socialist shouldn’t accumulate any wealth, which is stupid. (Of course, if a socialist isn’t rich, like AOC, they get criticized for that, too. It’s almost as if these aren’t good-faith criticisms and are simply empty character attacks against perceived ideological enemies.)

You are hilariously misusing the word “plutocrat.” Bernie is almost literally the furthest thing from a plutocrat there can possibly be. Again, please stop repeating the lies you hear on Fox, for your own sake.

Your criticism of Bernie’s wife getting away with something “very suspicious” rings extremely hollow given your support of Donald Trump, as well as that I’d bet you couldn’t explain what Bernie’s wife did without the help of Neil Cavuto or another propagandist explaining it to you again.

Your reasoning for “Republicans were mean to Obama, Democrats were mean to Trump, so even steven!” is possibly the worst and most cynically dishonest manifestation of the “both sides” fallacy I’ve ever seen. But it makes sense why you’d want to completely gloss over the relative substance, or lack thereof, of those respective criticisms, since such a comparison would not reflect well at all on the president and politics you support.

I can understand you not liking his politics, you're off on his wealth ($2 million), which is largely attributed to a book advance. In 2016 his tax returns were wholly unremarkable. Saving a little over a million in 40 years is not hard if you're diligent.

Bernie has proposed big tax increases on people that are the top earners. With his book deal, he became one - congrats to him. Do you think he led by example and paid his proposed tax rate on his income? Or do you think he only cares about other people's money?

Damn right he cares about other people's money. It's why he fights like hell for the low and middle income families. You may not like the guy's policies, but his heart is in the right place.

I got bernie's book.. should I... actually tell him that I got it at no additional cost? No, that would be logic.. He can't even answer simple basic questions like did a corporation that profited $13B last year but paid $0 in taxes get capital grants offered to them in deal that would devastate a community.

"If you believe taxes should be higher you should voluntarily pay higher taxes!" is such a lazy and tired criticism. Do you have anything to contribute that wasn't already being overused by supply-siders in the 1980s?

Asking if a 'leader' is leading by example isn't a legitimate question/criticism. LOL. Of course it is. It's actually the measure of the man.

I'll let you guys get back to reading Das Kapital.

Voluntarily paying more taxes because you want to raise taxes isn't leading by example, it's unilateral disarmament. And an adult debating in good faith shouldn't be attempting to use such a hackneyed and fallacious talking point in 2019.

I've read Engels and Marx does that make me a communist? I've also read the Quran, does that make me a Muslim? Nope.

I've read the Bible, not a Christian... read the Book of Mormon.. not a - you guess it - Mormon.

Now answer the fvcking question: Did it or did not a large corporation that profited $13B pay $0 in taxes get offered capital grants?

before jt brings up Bernies 2,000 houses he owns:

He and his wife owns a house. Yes, true socialists (I'm referring to the degree of socialist that uneducated people like jt just default to when they feel need to slander) in addition to communists don't believe in ownership of private real estate properties.

He has been in Congress since the 1980s. You only rent for so long when you move to DC several months of the year to represent.. your constituents. So you do in fact buy property, only makes sense.

Bernie has a condo. Property #2.

His wife has family. Many people that are married end up marrying into someone elses family. That's the way it be, sorry jt, it's true.

Guess what? Family members die and leave an inheritence. In some cases they have property they leave behind.

SO OMG BERNIE has 3 HOUSES.
