I just wanted to give a big shout out to this guy. We all know he scored his first college touchdown this weekend and had some great blocks during the limited time that he was in the game.
I just wanted to tell you a little bit about this young man. I have known Ben for a long time. Ben has been an absolute stud and mentor to my youngest son. He has taken the time out of this day to go to his school and have lunch with him. He has given him his gloves - played catch and basketball with him on the weekends at our local elementary school.
My son looks up to him and wants to be like Ben when he grows up. While we all know the talent that is on the field - Ben is an even better person and mentor. We are lucky to have him as a Jayhawk!
