We got to see the locker room.

Beaty is starting the press conference and talking about the locker room. Said he is very thankful to Zenger who Beaty said made the locker room happen.

Beaty said Zenger has supported him and gave him everything he needs. Was very complimentary of Zenger.

Beaty said Zenger does things a lot of ADs in the country don't get done.

Beaty said with bye week looking at personnel.

Beaty said they will handle the psychology of what's coming in Big 12 play.

Said focus is playing cohesive football. He says team is better than they have shown have to correct mistakes.

Beaty said they are truthful with young players. Just because you work hard doesn't mean you will win. You have to pay attention to detail.

Beaty going down list of several areas where there has been marked improvement. But also talking about areas that have to improve. Lot of improvements he's going over on defense and special teams.

Beaty said lot of things they have improve. Yards gained on first down has been bad.

Beaty said defense has taken over 11 TO from the offense and only allowed 22 pts off that.

Beaty said Mahomes is hard to tackle. Said he throws it to wrong guys and is still able to get it in there.

Dineen out a few weeks with hamstring. Beaty said injury isn't as bad as thought.

Wirtel tore ACL and will be out.That's a tough loss.

Other guys playing through injury. Missing two OL last time was tough.

Beaty said biggest thing is he had to change was culture when he got to KU

On stadium renovation Beaty said that is Zenger's top priority. Beaty said the stadium would be really cool but the big thing for KU football was the facility because that's where the players live.
