..I must admit I am extremely worried about what I am hearing on the offensive line. I just can't imagine that Adeniji and Ribordy are truly starting and that Bragg can miraculously unseed Gibson in a day or two after moving over to center. Also that McCauley and Clark are no better than redshirts. Pretty darn surprising.
I still think there may be a little smoke and Yenzer trying to challenge some people to work harder. I also think some kids might be a little dinged up and it is holding them back a little, but we shall see. Reality is starting to set in though. I really thought the offensive line would be improved over last year, as of right now, color me extremely concerned.
The one thing I realize more than ever, is we are going to have to use a ton a quick passes. That is making more and more sense when you look at the state of the offensive line. If Willis wins the job, he is going to have to be able to run as well. This could indeed cause Beaty to go with someone else.
The offensive line is the key to the whole team. I was hoping to not have to set through what we set through last year. Three and out, running backs stuffed at the line, and the QB not having time to get passes off.
I still hold out hope the offense can move the ball. But I have to admit, I am puzzled about the starters, especially Adeniji.
