I was amazed by a stat I saw yesterday on KSU. I believe it was 7 players in the NFL that were initially walk-ons and Synder made the comment that many times he doesn't know the difference between the scholarship players and the walk-ons for the young guys.
Beaty was smart enough to realize early-on that a walk-on program is essential for us, and he has done a stellar job on it so far.
So we will of course bemoan the fact we only have five to six scholies left for this year, but I bet we have another stellar class of walk-ons show-up to help ease the pain.
