I was listening to espn radio this morning. They had one of the anchors from the B1G Network on. He said that the B1G's TV deal was up at the end of next year. He said he thought that they might start negotiating that deal as early as this year.
It then occured to me that this might affect their expansion timeline... So I thought I would pass that little nugget along.
If they were going to make a move, it would makes sense for them to do it before negotiating that contract IMO.
Tatownbacker, I remember from previous posts you said you had experience working on these kinds of deals. Do you have any ideas how this might impact the B1G's expansion timeline, or will it have any impact at all?
