(1) Zenger went public with such a proposal months ago. Where are we now with the Proposal?
(2) Are there any blue prints floating around for viewing? Or are there just ideas being thrown around?
(3) I feel like our current stadium reflects poorly on a recruits perception of our commitment to football. Compared to other schools' stadiums our stadium is a near embarrassment.
(4) Many say we first have to win in order to raise the needed funding for such a project. But can we wait any longer? Are we sure we can consistently win when the best players may ignore us because of their perception that our commitment to football is lacking?
(5) It seems like it is a "keep up with the Jones'" issue; that in order to keep pace with our competition, we need to at least match them in facilities. Does that seem logical? Do we need facilities upgrades in order to begin winning consistently? Or can we consistently win before we try to solicit funding for upgrades?
I would feel more confident that winning would follow a stadium expansion than to think winning can occur on its own.
