I'm sorry if this is discussed already but I have not seen it emphasized in all the posts.
While sitting at the RI game two weeks ago I kept thinking about how lucky we were for how the Ohio game was setting up
1). Everyone knew KU would beat RI without much problem. It was a great scrimmage.
2). Ohio was taken to three overtimes on the same afternoon and had to try everthing to win a game at home which they wanted badly. There must have been a wealth of film.
3). Following a bad loss, Ohio had to travel to Lawrence which is not an easy place to play on the road on a windy day.
4). Basically KU had the entire summer to prepare for the Ohio game knowing the first game was a cake walk.
5) What a great opportunity to make a statement at home about the new attitude of this team to be prepared and give 150% to win.
Then the first half. I am still in shock.
