What position do you think he plays in college and what position do you think he would best be able to help out if he chose KU?

At 6' 5" 260 or so lbs, I can see him going a number of ways. It's an interesting build, not just because of size/athleticism combo. For example, Xavier Kelly is listed somewhere around 6' 4" 260 lbs. You would think that would mean they are similar, but I think they are built very differently. Kelly is more sculpted than Bledsoe is. However, I think Bledsoe moves in football clips (not these camp events) a lot more quickly. To me, Bledsoe moves like someone on the football field you would expect to be built like Kelly and Kelly moves more like someone built like Bledsoe (which means if you wan get Kelly to use his athleticism more he will be a freak). It is almost shocking how quickly, and dare I say graceful, Bledsoe moves.

So because of that, I could see him being an OT, DT, or DE. He is the type of recruit that I let him play wherever he wants because he is that talented and will be good wherever he plays. I do kind of like him most at OT, but think he can be a pretty damn good DE as well. With his size, it may seem like he may just get too big to play DE, but more and more you are seeing some programs (usually the best of the best) with 280+ lbs DEs.

So what position is best for him if KU lands him? For this, I lean more towards the DL and am a little bit split here on DT vs DE. I am a little bit worried that DJ Williams and Daniel Wise will have to carry too much of the load for the next couple of years and will really need a guy to help them. A JUCO addition would help this some, but that is still just one guy. A guy like Cameron Murray could help, but think he would need a couple of years to get ready. I think Bledsoe is a guy that could get to 280 lbs next year and help inside right away.

Now when you look at DE, you are looking at seniors Mosby and Olobia as well as underclassmen Ehambe and Armstrong for next year. That's a solid two deep, so Bledsoe wouldn't be needed there as much. However, unless we hit on another DE in this current class, we would have very little depth at the spot in two years (unless a guy like Sternberger moved to DE). I think in the end, we will need more help inside, so I kind of prefer Bledsoe as a DT, but think and argument can be made to keep him outside...
