There is a chance that Trump may hurt down ballot folks so badly that the Ds take over the Senate and the House, although the latter is highly unlikely. That's insane, given how district lines were redrawn to favor the Rs in House races in 2010. Right now, you have Rs down ballot that are trying to distance themselves from this clown, yet they can't afford to piss off his loyal supporters too much. How many ads are we going to see in the next 30 days of a Senator or House of Rep publicly supporting Trump? How long before the RNC completely pulls its support of Trump? Just a crazy turn of events in the last 10 days.
