The long standing pinned thread with all the history of the last few years has disappeared.
This is the AY2024-25 FINAL report.
FWIW, I have been tracking this info in one form or another for my personal interest for most of Bill Self's KU career.
I started posting it here several years ago when Shay asked for someone to maintain the thread he pinned up top.
If y'all are interested I can continue to post it here next season, pinned thread or no.
If y'all are not really interested (after all, I keep reading that the Golden Era is over
), that's one less weekly task for me to perform.
Whatever the case, I hope you enjoy the post! (Except for that losing ground to UK part... blech!)

{Edit: As you can see, Shay pinned it.

AY2024-25 FINAL COMMENTS
• After the NCAAT semifinal victory by Houston, all of the Top 25 programs are finished for AY2024-25
• UK gained 3 wins on KU and 1 on UNC in AY2024-25.
• AY2024-25 also saw -
- The Purdue Boilermakers pass the Indiana Hoosiers for 10th place on the list. (As a former Hoosier, I can tell you that stings a bit. Picture KState passing KU for something, anything. Same vibe. Ugh.)
- Big 12 member Cincinnati pass Illinois for 12th place
- Programs that reached the 1900 Wins mark were Big 12 members BYU, Utah and Arizona, along with Western Kentucky and Villanova.
- Programs with a shot at reaching 1900 Wins in AY2025-26 include #20 Washington (needs 25 wins next AY) and #21 West Virginia (needs 26). Both UConn and Michigan St (tied for 22 with 1861 wins) are mathematical possibles, but needing 39 wins to get there makes it overwhelmingly likely they will need more than one more time on the merry-go-round before they do.

NOTES
1. The table shows the official record for KANSAS, reflecting the 2023 NCAA IRP vacating of 15 wins from the KANSAS 2017-18 season for those 20 games in which retroactively declared ineligible Silvio De Sousa played.
2. The table shows the official NCAA record for Syracuse, which excludes the 101 wins the NCAA vacated in 2015. If those wins had not been vacated Syracuse would be #5 with over 2100 wins.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or spot any errors, and thanks in advance!
